Hi Andreas,

I don't think so, according to the following code taken from
ni_mio_common.c:ni_ai_cmd() (line 1343 if comedi version 0.7.64)

        case TRIG_EXT:
            {
             ...
                reg |= AI_START_Select(1+(cmd->scan_begin_arg&0xf));
             ...
                win_out(reg,AI_START_STOP_Select_Register);
            }

and according to NI DAQ-STC Technical Reference Manual
(page 2-78 of 340934b.pdf) here is the layout of AI_START_Select :

     0: Bitfield AI_START1_Pulse
  1-10: PFI<0..9>
 11-17: RTSI_TRIGGER<0..6>
    18: The internal G_OUT
    31: Logic low

No problem. For my tests I'm using NI connection box BNC-2120 to access
6025E signals.
