I have been able to use these for everything BUT adquiring a sine waveform.

Yes, search NI's developer zone for "comedi". They have a pretty complete
set of VIs.

I am wondering if anyone has written a LABVIEW CIN module that willjust read
in some data using cmd or something similar (adquisition a sine waveform) 


if so i would love to get a copy of it or if anyone knows what i need to do
to get reliabledata that would be helpful too ..
