As I may have mentioned before, this check fails on my PowerBook, since a PCMCIA card shares an interrupt with the PCMCIA controller, which only gets an interrupt when a card is inserted/removed. And since there's only one slot, there's never a conflict that doesn't have more serious implications. dave...
