pcl818 driver on i586

Hi,

I am trying to run comedi driver + pcl818.o on i586
machine using NS GEODE processor (MMX ).I am having problem with reading the analog value with
comedi_sv_measure returns error. If I run the driver on 486 machine it ran ok.
Does the driver architecture dependant ?
