That was the first thing I've investigated with dump_cis. and I have configured the comedi.conf file with the right values for manfid. I see after inserting the card the das08, 8255 and comedi modules with lsmod. but cardmgr still does the low second tone with the same error in syslog. and trying to use the card with a sofware running on a pc104 gives timeouts on das08 module... jch
