Hi there,
I have a National Instruments PCI-6052E card, comedi version 0.7.65, and
comedilib version 0.7.19. Installation was a breeze, but there's a slight
problem:
I modprobe ni_pcimio successfully and run:
comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_pcimio
which works fine. Strangely, when I try to specify the pci address and
irq, I get a driver not found error.
But the main problem is that, once this has been done, demo/info returns
very strange values for the min/max voltages measurable, for example:
overall info:
version code: 0x000741
driver name: ni_pcimio
board name: pci-6052e
number of subdevices: 8
subdevice 0:
type: 1 (analog input)
number of channels: 16
max data value: 65535
ranges:
all chans: [8e-06,1.4e-05] [8e-06,4e-06] [-527.335,-527.335]
[-527.335,0] [0,0] [0,0] [1.2e-05,8e-06] [8e-06,8e-06] [1e-06,1.2e-05]
[2e-06,1.2e-05] [1.2e-05,8e-06] [8e-06,8e-06] [1.6e-05,8e-06]
[-1073.75,-1073.75] [0,892.547] [1e-06,1074.26]
command:
start: now|ext|int
scan_begin: timer|ext
convert: timer|ext
scan_end: count
stop: none|count
command fast 1chan:
not supported
These channel ranges should be [-10.0,10.0], things like that.
comedi_calibrate also fails, with many barfs:
rodin root # comedi_calibrate

I'm really not sure what I should do to correct all this mess, and I
couldn't find anything in the mailing list archives. Thanks in advance
for your help.
Yours,
Lucas Watkins
