Hello everyone.
I have some more question regarding using the Redhat- patched kernel for
comedi. I have read and followed most of the messages on this mailinglist.
My first attempts failed when using 2.4.9-31 on a RH72 machine, with
comedi-0.7.65. Here I get some errors its does compile but the symbols
are wrong. So this isn't working inspite the action described.
I continued the work at home where I had a comedi-0.7.60 down loaded.
Here the compile works and I get readings from a pcl812 card. There I
have a 2.4.9-31 on a RH71. But this should not matter. I have now
successed in getting the system to work on my RH72 on comedi-0.7.60.
So something in the config scripts after 0.7.60 doesn't work right. Can
this be fixed or should redhat fix their end?
Appart from the scripts, are there any other reason for not using comdi
on redhat kernels?
best regards
Petter Strandh
