Re: kernel mismatch

My dearest helping friends,

unfortunately you are dealing with a true beginner here!
I recompiled and installed the kernel. Booting succeeds
without problems now, compiling and installing comedi
and comedilib goes well now too (no kernel - kernel source
mismatch anymore). Now the next problems occur:

modprobe ni_mio_cs
Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.18-64GB-SMP/comedi/comedi/drivers/ni_mio_cs.o will taint the
kernel: no license

comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_mio_cs
Configure failed!: Input/output error
Check kernel log for more information
Possible reasons for failure:
  Driver not found

What is this now? Many many thanks for your help. By the
way I am trying to get a NI6024E PCMCIA card running.

Regards
Bruno
