Hi all! I am trying to get a DAQCard-1200 to work on RH 7.3 based laptop using comedi-0.7.65 and comedilib-0.7.19. I have added these lines to rc.local: insmod comedi /sbin/modprobe ni_labpc /usr/sbin/comedi_config /dev/comedi0 daqcard-1200 The comedi and ni_labpc modules loads nicely but comedi_config reports the following error: # /usr/sbin/comedi_config /dev/comedi0 daqcard-1200 Configure failed!: Input/output error Check kernel log for more information Possible reasons for failure: Driver not found I have compiled the kernel with PCMCIA support and the code for the daqcard-1200 seems to be included in the ni_labpc driver. # cat /proc/comedi comedi version 0.7.65 format string: "%2d: %-20s %-20s %4d",i,driver_name,board_name,n_subdevices no devices ni_labpc: daqcard-1200 lab-pc-1200 lab-pc-1200ai lab-pc+ pci-1200 8255: 8255 If I use the cardinfo utility I can only see my ethernet card not the NI daqcard-1200.
