Hi,
When I boot the laptop <IBM Thinkpad 1400i> with Debian Woody, kernel
2.4.18, all of the relevant modules are loaded <ni_mio_cs, comedi, 8255>.
Independently of whether the DAQ is in the pcmcia slot or not at boot the
first attempt to load the driver fails. If I use cardctl to "eject" and
"insert" the card it comes up fine every time following that first
failure.
As an indication of what is going on, I booted the computer no DAQ,
inserted the card, got the cardmgr high-low tone, executed cardctl eject
1, and cardctl insert 1 and this is what was in the /var/log/syslog:
***insert card***

Any clue as to what I could do/look into in order to get this to work
flawlessly?
Many thanks to all and your patience is much appreciated.
