a question for comedi's realtime application from Wang Maosen on 2003-01-23 (gmane.linux.comedi)

Hi,
I want to synchronize AO and AI with Comedi in Linux, but to this day it
is not successful. My Hardware is S series multifunction card PCI-6111
and software : Comedi 0.7.66 ,comedilib0.7.19, RHlinux7.3 and
Kernel2.4.18-3. The installation , testing and calibration seemed
successful. But the delay between outputing series samples and inputing
series samples is too long(>=1 second). I have tried changing "dem"
software without success.This card is a simultaneous-sampling
Multifunction DAQ card and has 2.5MS/s  sampling Rate on 2 chanels(5MS/s
single chanel).
My question is:  Can I use comedi to do  quick simultaneous AO and AI in
RHlinux or RTlinux?(The delay must be less than 0.003 second).
