NI's low end board is the PCI6023: 16 SE analog ins, 8 DIO bits - $395 (unless there was a price increase this year) Measurement Computing (www.measurementcomputing.com) makes a few that are even cheaper that compare pretty directly to this. The PCI-DAS-16 comes to mind. You would probably be better off just using 2 of these boards as opposed to trying to buy one card that has 30+ analog inputs. Comedi natively supports up to 4 different cards in the machine. 10 Hz sampling is pretty easy to do with these cards, even with software.
