I'm planning on converting a working kernel module that uses kcomedilib over to newlxrt, based on the recommendations found in the RTAI mailing list, and the need to have the functionality in a user program. Is there any sort of guide on how to do this, other than the readme files found in the various lxrt directories in RTAI? For instance, I now use comedi_register_callback to invoke a callback routine in response to an asynch event. It appears from the readme files that this functionality must now be moved from a simple function to a separate task that blocks on a semaphore. Is there something I'm overlooking, or is there another more definitive guide for using COMEDI with newlxrt? Many, many thanks in advance!
