Triggering NI PCI-DIO-96 I have an NI PCI-DIO-96 and have downloaded Comedi drivers. I have been able to run the demo programmes successfully, ie info.c, dio.c. My query relates to the use of some of the Comedi calling functions. As a (very) novice user, I'm not sure if it is possible to configure the card, through Comedi, so that signals received by the PCI-DIO-96 can trigger the card and cause an interrupt. Is it possible to generate triggers from both positive and negative transitions on a single input digital channel. The Programmers Manual refers to handshaking (modes 1, 2 and 3) but the demo programme 'info.c' tells me that 'command: not supported' (from 'comedi_get_cmd_src_mask'. Am I limited to polling the DIO channels (mode 0, no handshaking, Unstrobbed) or can I configure something a little more sophisticated? Any guidance gratefully received.
