Dear all, here is a small observation in using the NI 611X boards with comedi, which may benefit other users: In some PCs, there appears to be a consistent tendency of these boards to return AI data sampled at some 500 Hz, no matter what the desired sampling rate. It seems, that comedi does not initialized the boards correctly, because running NI's own Linux examples (s. http://digital.ni.com/express.nsf/bycode/exyv4w?opendocument&lang=en&node=seminar_US) after booting and ahead of using comedi fixes the problem reliably.
