hi all, this is my first post ... I will set up from scratch my home automation system, so first question is comedi the right choice to base it upon ? second one, to start I have in mind to monitor and control a methane sensor and the on/off domestic methane valve, and also a fire/smoke sensor ... other stuffs to come after this basic setup, some other valves, switches and sensors/detectors. so some hardware, to end on a pci slot. any direct suggestion or link ? thank you vey much bye andrea_at_tasso.info
