Thanks for the answers. I plan to report on my activities once I have
accumulated enough experience, I'll try to give my contribute to
documentation.
BTW regarding documentation, I found I had to apply some small
corrections to the comedilib-0.7.19 SGML files in order to get them
compiled by docbook-utils-0.6.9-25 on RedHat 7.3.
