comedi install troubles from Dan Smith on 2003-04-12 (gmane.linux.comedi)

Hello!

I'm trying to install the latest CVS snapshot of comedi on RedHat 7.3,
with RTAI 24.1.10.  The configuration and compilation of the source
completes successfully, but 'make install' results in many messages
like this:

> depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.19-rthal5/comedi/comedi/comedi.o
> depmod:         HARD_RESTORE_FLAGS
> depmod:         HARD_SAVE_FLAGS_AND_CLI

I had initially tried comedi-0.7.66, but moved to the CVS version in
hopes that it would solve the problem.  If needed, I can post the
entire output of 'make install'.

I did enable RT and RTAI support when building comedi.  The RTAI
kernel and associated modules are working correctly.

Can anyone help?
