You should be able to use external triggers by setting TRIG_EXT as the 
start_src, scan_begin_src, or convert_src.  I don't know how well tested it 
is though.

The comedi/comedilib cvs has calibration code for the cb_pcidas driver.  It 
will only calibrate one analog input range at the moment though.  The 
infrastructure for calibrating multiple ranges is in cvs, but specific 
support for multiple ranges with cb_pcidas hasn't been added to 
comedi_calibrate yet.

It will prevent the interrupt handler from running at RT priority, which may
