ni_mio_cs help

Hello I was wondering if somebody could please help me with this problem
im having with a National Instrument DAQ A! 16XE 50.
When i insert the card into the PCMCIA slot , the machine reboots . If i
disable comedi then the card is accepted and listed as an unsupported
card. So my first problem is that I have no idea why this is rebooting
especially when the same card works on other computers and also other
cards like RS232,USB,Wireless,Ethernet cards work on this computer.

Now i want to atleast load the drivers manually and configure them. but
comedi config gives me this

Simon:~# comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_mio_cs 0x0100,9
Configure failed!: Input/output error
Check kernel log for more information
Possible reasons for failure:
  Driver not found
Simon:~# tail /var/log/messages
\Apr 24 04:12:48 Simon kernel: comedi: valid board names for ni_mio_cs
driver are:
Apr 24 04:12:48 Simon kernel: ni_mio_cs
Apr 24 04:12:48 Simon kernel: comedi: valid board names for 8255 driver
are:
Apr 24 04:12:48 Simon kernel: 8255
Simon:~#

Any ideas? I see in the other posts that the driver name may be
different from the card name.. But its not so for the ni_mio_cs.
Somebody, Anybody.. helpppp

Sincerely

Muks
