questions comedi on RTLinux

Dear all,
I have noticed that comedi is capable for installation on RTAI and
RTLinux with kcomedilib compiled, 
but I still have questions on the following issues:
1. How about the hard real time performance of comedi drivers under
RTLinux?
2. Is it necessary to rewrite drivers and user cases ?
