Herman, looks great. Maybe one minor thing which relates in general to the word "trigger": the word "trigger" has many different meanings. For electronics people (engineers) it is clear. However, for "normal" people it might be a bit misleading. I've been working in psychology for quite a while and there is meant with "trigger" something from the "outside", like an event. Here in Comedi it is usually somthing from inside the process.
