Has anyone written a fairly generic and open source DAQ with Comedi? from Tim Holt on 2003-06-21 (gmane.linux.comedi)

I'm currently working out some specs for how I might lay out a simple 
DAQ package using Comedi.  Simple as in not full of bells and whistles 
(visual stuff), stable, and easy to configure and use via the command 
line and config files.

And it dawns on me that probably someone's done this before, or 
something like that.

So I'm wondering, what kind of "it's just a pretty good basic DAQ 
package" type package have been written using Comedi already?  Any?
