Hi Chuck,

Sorry about not responsing to your earlier email - I was on vacation all last 
week.

Anyway, the counter value is an internal number that (AFAIK) cannot be reset.  
The only want to distinguish counts is to read the value, save it, then 
sometime later read the value again, and look at the difference.

Be sure to note that the counters will overflow at (2^24)-1.
