Should range, aref and n be already filled in? Should any of the other fields? What's comedi_sv_update()? The webpage doesn't mention it, but it's in comedilib.h under "slowly varying stuff". The manpage is not very helpful, it says that it updates internal parameters of the slowly varying comedi structure sv - but not how it updates them, with what, and why/when one would call it.
