installing comedi

I am installing a 6024E, I installed Comedi by following the install file 
steps.
I am done till /sbin/modprobe ni_pcimio 8255
 
Next, when I do /usr/sbin/comedi_config it says no such file. Could you tell 
me at what stage does the comedi_config file get loaded and does the comedilib 
also have to  be installed seperately following the same steps as installing 
Comedi.
