For the first time in months I need to use the PC104-DAS16jr/16. The system I'm using has a 2.4.20 kernel and comedi from cvs dated 20030417. For the moment I'm stuck there. The code in question has been used for a long time with mimimal problems and an earlier version of comedi (around Feb 2002). The application collects 16 channels at 1Khz. It appears to work fine witn the current comedi and a PCI-DAS1602. When I replaced the DAS1602 with the DAS16 the DAS16 would not collect data. I changed the setup to use timer mode instead of the IRQ we used to use. The board now collects data - sort of. All input channels are grounded. All buffers are set large if not to maximum. The data coming in jumps at random times from 0 volts to about 5 volts. Durations are on the order of 1000 to 2500 scans (1 to 2.5 seconds). Any Ideas? There is no way to change the comedi/os in the field (You want to talk the clerk through a kernel build and installation?) John Conner
