Hi,
I saw few messages received on the list since my first question in july
2002, showing that two other people are interested in a driver for the
acquisition device NI4472 (cPCI/PXI version). I stopped the project for a
year but now it start again and I would like to develop a driver to do
continuous synchronized acquisition of 40 channels with 24 bits resolution
using PXI synchronisation of five NI4472 boards. Before starting this
project, I would like to know if someone have start working on a driver for
NI4472, and if not yet, to know if somebody is interesting in sharing the
developpement. As David Schleef wrote in a message in march 2003 it uses a
MITE interface for PCI and cPCI/PXI and I have the documentation of the
board registers (NI gave it to me but now I can not share it). However, if
other people are interested in a driver for this board, perhaps NI would let
us share this information. Let me know if somebody is intereted in.
