Hi,
I am having a problem with installing NI DAQCard-6062E.
It is a pcmcia card, and I finally managed to make it recognized
by the pcmcia service. So, when I start pcmcia service, the card
will be automatically recogized and the driver will be loaded
after the beep sound. However, when I look at the output of
dmesg command, it says:
comedi0: ni_mio_cs: DAQCard: io 0x0100, irq 0, DAQCard-6062E irq not available
And, the programs like comedi_test return an error like:
E: comedi_open("/dev/comedi0"): No such device
I think I need to change the IRQ somehow, but I couldn't figure out how
although I've been working on this quite long...I tried comedi_config
command, but it only says:
vega comedi # /usr/local/sbin/comedi_config -v /dev/comedi0 ni_mio_cs 0x0100,10
configuring driver=ni_mio_cs 256,10,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,
Configure failed!: Invalid argument
Check kernel log for more information
Possible reasons for failure:
I'm using Gentoo Linux with kernel 2.4.20-gentoo-r5 on Thinkpad T30.
gcc version is 3.2.3, comedi version is 0.7.67 and comedilib version
is 0.7.21
Could someone help me with this?
