We're getting an NI6602 to gather radiometer frequency counts using what NI calls the "Reciprocal Frequency Measurement" method. I would prefer to use linux, and I have some experience writing device drivers for linux. I searched the list archives about the NI6602, but I have two questions about the comedia driver: 1. What functionality is currently supported on the 6602 card? The driver itself looks quite simple. 2. Can I get register-level documentation on the 6602 if I should need to add some functionality to the comedia driver?
