NI SCXI Chassis + Modules

Hello List,

I'm starting a project to control an NI SCXI-1000 chassis, with SCXI-1520
(strain gauge) and SCXI-1112 (thermocouple) modules from an NI-6036E DAQ
card. Since the NI-6036E has a driver already, I think this is very
possible. I just need to reverse engineer NI's protocols used to talk to
the SCXI modules. (They use a few digital lines to implement some sort of
clocked serial link.)

Has anyone else used the SCXI chassis/modules with the COMEDI API under
linux? I would love to swap notes with others. In any case, I will be
sharing any progress I make on a web page shortly.
