It's there for a reason, but a bogus reason. Your card is obviously sharing an interrupt with another device. Replace the printk() line with "return;" or "return IRQ_NONE;" depending on which was used in 0.7.67. (Amusingly, I've seen this before on a machine that shared the interrupt with the network card and also used remote logging. So an interrupt caused logging information to be transferred to another computer, which caused more interrupts, ad infinitum.) dave...
