Thanks to the list I finally got comedi 0.7.16/ rtai 24.1.13 / linux 2.4.23 all playing together. If anyone is curious I'd be glad to pass any lessons I learned along. My card is an NI at-mio-16e-2 capable of 500ksps. I'd like to test the system, a PII 400, to see if its capable of sustaining this sample rate without buffer overrun. I'll eventually end up writing my own custom software but I think I have a bit of studying to do before I can grow my own. What exists out there and uses comedi that could push the hardware to the limit? I don't care what happens to the data I just need to see if the on card buffer overflows. Thanks again for your time, David Carr
