NI PCI-MIO-16E-1 and DMA from Ed Lankford on 2004-03-09 (gmane.linux.comedi)

I would like to use the PCI-MIO-16E-1 boards for what was called triggered 
scan mode DMA input for a different board.  The NI register level 
programming guide does not have that in their examples.  Instead example 4 
has both a sampling period and a scanning period, so one trigger lets it 
run asynchronously.  Does comedi support the mode I describe for this 
board?  I want to set up the DMA controller once for a few thousand scans 
of the same channels, but I want an interrupt routine to issue the trigger 
to start each scan of those several channels.  Thanks.
