Hallo Mathias,
I am successfully using the "ni_pcimio"-driver for the same board with
SuSE 7.3 and 8.1. It wasn't neccessary to do any steps beyond the steps
described in the installing description coming with the drivers. However,
you should have installed gcc-c++ and glib-devel.
