Hi, I am new in the framework of linux and data acquisition under linux. I have to achieve in a short time (2 weeks!!!) an acquisition program for my PCI-6602 card provided by NI-DAQ . I allready installed the driver ni-660x on the computer. It seem to be installed correctly. Now, I dont know how to use this driver (the right command, configuration instruction ...). I want to use a single 32 bit counter to count the 30 ns pulses. The counter should be triggerd by an ~2 KHz TTL external clok. the scan should be buffured into a 1024 sample buffer (DMA). each acquisition should be trigered by a ~1 Hz TTL external signal. 1- Is it necessary to install the real time patch for this aplication? 2- if somebody have an example of c++ program using pci-6602 I am very interested 3- If somebody know a detailded documentation I am also very interested. thank you very much emmanuel
