AO waveforms on PCI-6713

I just installed comedi 0.7.68 with comedilib 0.7.21.  I have a single PCI-6713 card.
Single inputs and outputs work fine, but the ao_waveform demo (and my attempts to
imitate it) crash with perror reporting "write: Broken pipe".

Are AO waveforms supposed to work on the 6713?  The documentation says streaming
analog output is not supported on 671x and 673x but messages in the mailing
list archive suggest that it might be possible now.  I have a real time application
which requires lots of channels so I'd like to use the 6713 (which has 8) if possible.
