Hi all, I am a beginner with comedi and i am trying to use the parallel port module because i haven't yet bought a digital card , I have installed comedi 0.7.68 and comedilib 0.7.21 with success, I have read the part of ocumentation regarding the configuration of a generic card , 1- shall i do something like that in order to use the parallel port or not? First of all i have loaded the modules comedi.o, comedi_parport.o after the loading of the RTAI modules , and i have tried to start the example ./info in the directory demo of comedilib but it gives me the message" cannot open /dev/comedi0" 2-Is thos the right procedure to run the examples available in the doc directory with the parallel port or not?
