there's already a define in the source code which excludes all USB high
speed stuff below kernel version 2.4.19 or so. However, it seems so that
the kernel version is not the best method to check this condition. Too
many distros patch kernel versions. Probably you are right: the best
thing is to check for USB_SPEED_HIGH itself and then exclude all high
speed stuff if it's not defined.
Can you provide a patch? ;-) ... please. I'll check it.
