help required on Advantech Data Acquisition card

We have been trying to install PCI-1711L  PCI based  Analog Input Card of Advantech  on Red Hat 9.0 with GCC ver 3.3.2 and GGC Ver. 3.2.3 and we are facing the following problem
" As per the instruction 
e-book everything is running fine until when
we came to 'make' under the comedi-0.7.60
directory.Upto the 'make dep' command after 
make config command no errors got flagged up. 
But after this command 2 errors with error no. 1 & 2 
were generated. The following messages were written:

kvmem.c:90: error: incompatible type for argument 4 of 'remap_page_range_R2baf18f2'
kvmem.c:90:error: too many arguments to function ' remap_page_range_R2baf18f2'

Again if this error is ignored then after going through the comedilib-0.7.19 directory
when we try to run by giving the command '/sbin/modprobe comedi' it just 
gives the message 'can't find the module comedi' ."
pls. suggest how this can be overcome.
