When I modify the EXTRAVERSION parameter (from '-14custom' to '-14') in my
Linux Makefile per the instructions, Comedi won't make. But if I leave it
alone and do a vanilla install of Linux and Comedi, it installs. to the
wrong directory ('/lib/modules/2.4.18-14custom' instead of
'/lib/modules/2.4.18-14'). How might I hijack the scripts to hard-code my
Linux version as the destination driver directory? (Will that leave other
parts of the installation in the wrong place?) Is there another workaround
I'm not seeing?
