comedi/rtai sys halt from prokosma_at_cse.msu.edu on 2004-07-08 (gmane.linux.comedi)

SO I had rtai/comedi working..  I recompiled my kernel.  reinstalled rtai
and comedi.   Now when i load my comedi driver (ni_pcimio), it loads a
bunch of rtai modules at the same time (didn't do that before)   and after
I load the driver if I try to run a rtai test program, my system halts. 
However, rtai works just fine if I don't load the comedi module ni_pcimio.
   and all the comedi tests work just fine.  I tried installing comedi
with and without rtai.. no help..   I'm quite confused....
