Multiple commands on same device

Hi everybody!

I want two different acquisition scans, on the same device, to be 
triggered by two different
digital input channels. Can this be accomplished by issuing two 
appropriate commands
or is there any problem when calling commedi_command multiple times on 
the same device?
Does the last command overide the previous?
