Hi, I wrote a message a couple of days before. I finally got the SuperLogic PCM 208H PCMCIA card working on the LapTop computer but not in the PDA. I have tried to trace the driver and found that although the configuration process is succesful, no communication exists with the card. When the driver tries to access the card via "inb" or "outb" no writings nor readings take place (all the values read are always 0 for all the registers, and writing to the DAC registers has no effect). As I reported previously, the NI DAQ 6036E PCMCIA card works OK for the PDA. The configuration steps of the PCMCIA stuff of both card drivers are quite similar, and in both cases the same I/O space area and IRQ are asigned when inserted in the same slot. However the NI DAQ 6036 is correctly accessed through "inb" and "outb" and the PCM208H is not. In the case of the LAPTOP, both card are asigned to the I/O port address space (at 0x100 base address). In the case of the PDA it seems to be not I/O port address space, the allocated address space in both cases is 0xf6000000-0xf600000f. As before, I would appreciate any help, comment or hint in this subject. Also, recommendations and documentation pointers for driver hacking would be welcomed. Best Regards and thank you in advance, Jose Manuel
