Hi, I asked NI for programming information for the new M series boards. Here is the response. We just have to wait until they publish the register level programming information. I am glad to see that you are interested in our new M Series boards. Thank you for the feedback on our submission form. The M Series boards DO NOT use the same register level interface. These boards have a completely new DAQ-STC-2 synchronization and timing controller. We do not yet have register-level programming info available, however, we are working on it. Once this information is available, it will be downloadable from our website. Thank you for your feedback. I am interested in using your new M Series cards as well (in particular the NI PCI-6259) (by the way, those cards do not appear in the Hardware details combo box in this email web form!). Therefore I want to know whether the M Series cards use the same register level interface as the E Series cards? Do they use the DAQ STC chip as well? Do you have register level programming infos available? I havn't found any information on your web site.
