Well, i downloaded the latest comedilib form cvs.
I did the following after descompresing:
cd /home/comedilib
./autogen.sh
# I modified configure.ac as said in the output
./configure
make
make install

modprobe ni_atmio
#I modified isapnp.cfg putting ACT N
isapnp /etc/isapnp.cfg
comedi_config /dev/comedi0 ni_atmio

and i get:
Configure failed!: Input/output error
Check Kernel log for more information
Possible reasons for failure:
Driver not found

any clue?
This not happen if i specify the base adress
