SampleCode for use of soft-RT-Timing

Hello!

I try to build a driver based on the parport driver that does data
acquisition via the cmd command that gives me the trace of what happend
on the dig-in lines over the time with a certain sample rate.
For that I thought about using the comedi-rt-timer module to archive a
properly timed sample rate.
Is there anything already around or does any other driver use this timer
module to serve as an example on how to do it?

I'd be very thankful if you could speed up my learning process.
