To clarify my problem, I need to find a way (comedi_command or otherwise) to perform a set of AI reads and AO writes on multiple NI PCI DAQs, and it needs to happen regularly on a timer. Is there any way (interrupt or otherwise) to set a timer value and be notified each time it recycles? I've been reading postings and it looks like this sort of request has been popping up for at least 3 years. If the timer really isn't directly accessible, what kind of workaround would at least function? Should I tie a digital output line to a timer using a command, then loop it back to a digital input on each card to serve as a trigger? That still wouldn't help my user code stay synced up. It just seems there should be a better way. System info: KNOPPIX 3.4 (hd installed) Comedi 0.7.68 Comedilib 0.7.20 Michael Thomas
