Advantech PCI-1757UP .. No, that was a hacked version of comedi released by advantech. Someone could probably port the advantech drivers in it to the current version of comedi if they are interested. The files do have some copyright statements in them that obviously violate comedi's licensing and though, like: "This is An Unpublished Work Containing Confidential And Proprietary Information Which Is The Property Of Advantech Automation Corp. Any Disclosure, Use, Or Reproduction, Without Written Authorization From Advantech Automation Corp., Is Strictly Prohibit." Even some drivers that are part of comedi and were originally written by Michal Dobes have this message inserted into them in their tarball. So I guess we should get advantech to clairify the copyright status of the drivers, or stop illegally distributing their modified comedi tarball. - -- Frank -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBYLw95vihyNWuA4URAgADAJ9/WVGdcSATeA/M3Gzu2ALRnqIkdACgwOin cH4eFcgA/l84fuZXxzgyuLc= =c4Ce -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
