Re: Making changes to comedi/ni_pcidio

Hi there,

I did an upgrade of another comedi driver (amplc_pci230) not so long ago
and wondered the same thing... The answer is to submit your code to the
comedi "bugzilla" system:
https://cvs.comedi.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/query.cgi

In the yellow box at the bottom, click "New". You'll need to create
yourself a comedi bugzilla account (if you've not already got one). When
you actually submit the "bug" there's a "Severity" option of
"enhancement". The system's a little quirky... you have to submit a
description of the bug/enhancement before it allows you to attach a file
(either patch file or the whole thing).

From that point on one of the comedi maintainers will deal with it.

Hope that helps! (and I hope what I say's correct!).

Cheers!

   Steve.
